Meet Sophie – Owner & Senior Stylist

First up is Sophie, the owner of Wainwrights and a Senior Stylist who has been there from the very beginning.

Sophie opened Wainwrights in 2010 and has been part of the salon ever since, making her the person who knows the Wainwrights journey better than anyone.

Over the years, Sophie has developed a real passion for blonde hair and creative colour. She loves working with different shades and techniques to create colours that are individual to each client.

And if you've read our recent blog about creative colour, you'll already know that Sophie has a particular soft spot for pink!

From delicate rose-gold tones to vibrant bubblegum pink and everything in between, she loves creating colourful hair. But pink isn't the only option – blues, greens, purples and other creative shades are all part of the fun.

Sophie also loves creating pixie cuts. Short hair can be incredibly versatile, and she enjoys creating cuts that suit the individual rather than simply following a trend.

As the owner of Wainwrights, Sophie is also passionate about creating a salon where clients feel comfortable, welcome and able to be themselves.

Meet Lucy – Senior Hairdresser

Lucy is another familiar face at Wainwrights and has been with Sophie since the salon opened.

As a Senior Hairdresser, Lucy brings years of experience to the team and has developed particular specialisms in wedding and occasion hair, as well as blondes.
